As someone who has always been involved in alternative sports such as climbing, mountain biking, BMX and kite boarding, I discovered being a passionate participant helped me to tell the story better than someone on the sideline. Conveying in an image that feeling of clearing a gap or sticking that trick you’ve been working on all year is something that I believe can only be expressed by someone who has experienced it themselves.

As adventure sports becomes more main-stream, with the aid of independent online media, I've strived to help promote the riders and locations by bringing inspirational images out of the dark forests and secluded beaches to the comfort of the desktop.
